In 1981, just 2 years before production ceased, the rear lighting arrangement changed and the indicators moved to the bottom of the body. The Series 3 plastic dashboard is visible through the window, and you can just make out the heater air intake in the wing. I can also tell its a genuine ex-military land Rover from the rear lights and not just one painted up for the show.
