rpcm ◊ 2008-11-27 17:05	Only the first 242 XK120s were alloy-bodied. The size of the windscreen side pillar grommets indicates this is a steel-bodied car ( introduced in April 1950 ) in Roadster or Open Two-Seater form. Nevertheless, it's an early one since it doesn't have the footwell ventilators introduced in November 1951. The wires were available from mid-51 as part of the Special Equipment package, but many cars had them fitted when restored.
