1953, that's pretty rare! |

It is a 54 or 55. 53s were available in polo white only. |

But still pretty rare |

This car and several others (notably the yellow Ford Wagon and the black Ford Convertible) are seen over and over and over in the last big chase scene, in different locations, so either its not THAT rare, or they thought we wouldn't notice! |

As one of the taxis passes the 'Vette there's a crashing sound, never decided whether that was a sound effect added later or one of the taxis touched the Corvette. The Vette didn't seem to move or be damaged. |

The gray or silver color shown here does not correspond to any 1953-1955 Corvette color, so there is actually a possibility this is a 1953. The visible red interior is correct for all 1953s, any 1954s that weren't Pennant Blue, and 1955s that were Polo White. |

According to Jay Leno's YouTube channel this 1954 Corvette was painted several different colors and appeared multiple times in the background of this movie. The video was posted on 4/18/22. It has been fully restored to like new condition. |
