 I would agree with F-150 (for on F-250 models the front and rear hubs
protrude outward as a result of larger robust axels and hubs)

I'm not going to comment on every 1992 XL as there are tons. One more time before I fix the rest. The base model for 1992 was Custom. All 1992 XL have rub strips on the front bumper. Without a badge shot we cannot decipher a 1992 Custom vs. a 1993-1996 XL.
