DynaMike ◊ 2008-12-09 14:24	The dark Daf in the thumbnail will be a 44. The white car could be a 44 or 55, as both have been used by the Police. But with the details that are visible here I cannot find the difference If there would be a shot of the taillights or the front, it would be quite easy. Also a shot of the housing of the dashboard clocks would help (and the second thumbnail is very close to that!): one rectangular housing for the 44, two rounded for the 55.
johnfromstaffs ◊ 2008-12-09 17:00	What would the police catch in a DAF 44? I know a lot of people ride bikes in Holland but that's ridiculous!
DynaMike ◊ 2008-12-09 17:04	The've had also Daf 600 and 33, though usually Dutch Police used Volkswagen Beetles. Only in The Hague they usually had Mercedes-Benzes and in Rotterdam they drove US cars.
Richard Davies ◊ 2009-08-13 22:30	I was also wondering how good a DAF was as a police car, considering that the combination of small engine & CVT gearbox wouldn't make it very good for chases.
