I guess I was fooled by the simple hubcaps, thought it looked like a Delray. I replaced the main picture to another from season two, I think they´re all the same car but can´t know for sure of course. But I wonder if it´s a Bel Air, wouldn´t the side trim be more prominent? Could it be a Biscayne? |

1958 Chevrolet Delray 4 door sedan series 1100 six. 1958 Biscaynes had two-tone paint with one tone on the roof and the two tones being separated laterally by the lateral trim that was identical to the Delray. It lacks the V on the hood making it a six. |

The one you provided the pictures for episode 1:34 contains chrome on the window frames extended to the B pillar and where Biscayne and Delray does not have. -- Last edit: 2008-12-18 13:46:09 |

I suspect that it might be an optic illusion with the chrome on the window frames, looking at the first image you can clearly see the chrome around the rear window but nothing around the side windows except the pillar between rear quarter window and rear window. On the second image it looks like brightwork on the windowframes, but I think it´s just reflections in the shiny black paint. There should also be trim above the doors on the Bel Air. I found this for comparison: /vehicle_85621-Chevrolet-Bel-Air-1958.html |
