... and they don´t go together. It seems like they mounted a used body of a horse-drawn hearse on a motor chassis, which was a common practice in the early days of the motorized hearse. I´m pretty sure this funeral body wasn't originally meant to fit on the Pierce-Arrow. Just the follow cars appear to be entirely built as motor car bodies.

I'll try to find out more, but this requires 1.) a little more time and 2.) some advanced literature I don't use on a regular basis (-> stored in my archive). ;)

That Pierce could be as early as 1914. The headlight on the front fenders were an option from 1913.
