Based upon a R...Type Goelette or Galion, but with specific body |

All of old models of RNUR / Renault have an R and 4 digit. R1xxx = domestic cars R2xxx = Delivery trucks For example, an Renault 4 is R1120 type for first models with 747 cm3 engine. An a R4 delivery van is R2106 Or an Estafette is R213x type (R2130 to R2137) In this case, it's a R20xx type i guess. -- Last edit: 2006-02-07 12:36:17 |

The Galion has the same style |

It can't be named neither as Galion nor Goelette, it's a R2xxx with specific police body |

According to those pages either R2067 or R2087 from 1945. In French: http://r2087.free.fr/new/pages.php3?num=53 In Dutch: http://groups.msn.com/RenaultGoelette/beetjegeschiedenis.msnw Perhaps someone with a knowledge of those languages could read the text. |

It certainly looks like the same style. The only difference I saw was that the ones on the french page have a single piece windshield and the one in the movie is two piece. Maybe just different years. -- Last edit: 2010-01-21 21:51:23 (G-MANN) |

It's surely a R2087 base but the body is a specific one for Police van and not the same as the R2087 from the "Régie" general shape is different, and as Wrenchead mentionned, the 2 parts windscreen as never been used on the genuine van -- Last edit: 2006-02-22 21:41:58 |

Should we call it a R2087 Custom and let it go at that? |
◊ 2006-02-22 22:20 |
Let's name it as R2087 'fourgon Police' for the moment |
◊ 2006-02-22 22:23 |
I'm OK with that. -- Last edit: 2010-01-21 21:51:34 (G-MANN) |

Parked on the right is a very, very rare 1960 Sunbeam Rapier Series III convertible, recognisable by the side trim. Most Rapiers wre coupes, most Rootes convertibles of this kind were Hillman Minx or Singer Gazelle. I'd say it deserves its own page |

C'est peut être une carrosserie Aérazur. |
