vans1107 ◊ 2009-11-11 09:12	It's a 1971 elcamino, the 70 model year did not have the turn signal lights that wrapped around the side of the nose next to the head lights like the 71-72 elcaminos/chevelles, they were instead mounted on the bumper, and also the 72 elcamino/chevelle had a solid lense unlike the 71 which was split in two like the one shown here.

Ross ◊ 2010-10-17 03:28	It sure isn't a 1970 because of the completely different front end styling. In the movie (not in this picture) you can also see that the grille has one centered horizontal chrome bar, which indicates it as a 1971 model. The 1972 has two horizontal bars and one-piece turn signal lenses, as vans1107 noted. So there's no doubt it's a 1971.
