Describing a car as a "poor man's Yugo" and using an actual Yugo to portray it doesn't sound very smart, but I suppose that there aren't any other cars around in the US that would look the part. |

According to http://themiddleblog.livejournal.com/, "the hruck automobile brand is an homage to les mcclaine's first comic book series "highway 13" in which the main character drove a hruck greywolf, the name "bugbear" comes from one of the more colorful monsters of the classic dungeons and dragons." I know it's a fictional brand, but I guess the Bugbear could be a version of the Yugo GV. In the same way the Hindustan Ambassador is a version of the Morris Oxford, the Iran Khodro Paykan is a version of the Hillman Hunter, and the Lada/VAZ-2102 is a version of the Fiat 124. -- Last edit: 2009-01-08 06:45:16 |

1988+ and if from this year, then perhaps something better than GV (something like GVL or GVS) by the taillamps and red stripes in bumper, although soon was also introduced "GV Plus" which had both these things too. In episode 1.12 different car with 1st type of taillamps was used. -- Last edit: 2018-10-04 19:27:11 |
