Driven by Xenia Onatopp (Famke Janssen), who pulls alongside Bond as he's driving through the mountains in Southern France with a nervous female MI6 employee. Bond can't resist having a race with this femme fatale in a Ferrari, although in real life a DB5 could never keep up with a 355, he gives her a run for her money, but eventually, after nearly mowing down a group of Tour De France cyclists, he gives in to his flustered travel companion and yanks the handbrake, bringing the car to a stop, just in front of stunning view of Monte Carlo.

One Ferrari was damaged during the race scene, when the DB5 crashed into it. But because the F355 was replaceable, and the DB5 was not, the team was not worried at all about the Ferrari.

Bond points out that the French plates on it are fake.
