Large license plate light holder: 1964+. Push button to open the engine lid (instead of T-shaped handle): 1965+. Since model year 1966 there would have been a writing ('1300' or since 1967 '1500') on the engine lid, so this will be a 1965 model. In 1965 the Käfer was only available with a 1200 engine, and AFAIK the cabriolet was called Cabriolet. |
