Yes - also the medium blue in main. Gold looks high trim SL. Blue also looks as if high-trim version grille - again maybe SL HB although could be LC, or perhaps .... (cue drumroll)...... a Brabham Torana HB which was coded as XS5. I don't know a lot about these but apparently HB Toranas came as S1 and S2. S1 Brabham had black stripe down body centreline, so this ain't an S1. S2 Brabham did not have this stripe, although did apparently have some taping around the nose (perhaps like UK Brabham Viva HB - http://db2.stb.s-msn.com/i/D7/1084279D71935EA7732EFA9C6636C2.jpg , http://www.vivaoutlaws.co.uk/brabham/brabham.html ) plus black rear panel and grille. I'd like to find something Brabham'd one day - Torana, Viva (HB or also HA, but that was only externally a small badge, with no striping) or even a Brabham Herald Coupe - http://www.northcotts.clara.net/tsscdevon/carlists/herald/brabham.html , http://www.retroscenemag.com/post/Formula-One-Tuning-on-the-1960s-Street.aspx , https://bpostwarclassics.runboard.com/t9722 . |
