TM9347 is a historic vehicle. It's a 1931 Bedford WHB with Waveney 14 seat body; it's special because it was the very first purpose built Bedford bus. There had been buses built on Bedford truck chassis before, but this was the first true Bedford bus. It's now preserved by the Vauxhall Heritage Centre. -- Last edit: 2006-02-08 22:01:30 |

I drove this bus when I worked for Arlington Motors in 1963 in their Potters Bar depot. In those days it was in a red and yellow livery. Chick |
