And can't be older? Well film had its premiere at the end of 1972, so was filmed at the beginning of that year... (or even in the 1971 according to the calendar in one of the scenes)... ![]() |

I agree it would be very strange to have a 1973 model in a 1972 film... I used http://digilander.libero.it/nuvell/particR.html as source, but maybe someone can find more accurate infos. |

The button could be also replaced for a different one. Like in this F: /vehicle_152348-Fiat-500-F-110F-1965.html Or some (since some year) had a smaller one... -- Last edit: 2018-06-14 16:59:23 |

Yes, though the white one in your link looks like an L type (extra tubes on the bumper). Let's say it's an F and we don't know the year (yet). |

It can be only a 500 F, by the colour very new, and by the plate light, higher than before sine early 1970, a post 1970. It could have been a 500 R, but it appeared in Italy in November 1972...!!! |

Extra tubes on the bumpers are not the only way to spot by outside a 500 L: chromed arches over the side windows, chromed (instead of gummy) windshield and rear window frame, a bit different hubcups, simplier front badge, front plate psot under the front bumper...plus a lot of differences inside. Today many 500s are not original. Looking inside halps a lot to undestand the original type of the car. |
