Correct; this is a 1966 Ford F-100 with Custom Cab and 6 cylinder engine inside, despite the V8 emblem on the front. It is also the most-used vehicle in Brokeback Mountain, appearing in at least 12 scenes. In the movie it has Kumho tires. The radio inside does not work and was just put there by the studio to go along with the song playing on Ennis' radio, "I'll Be Gone", when he's with his daughter. It has various license plates attached, including fake 1977 series WY plates 8-5742, and fake 1981 series WY plates 11-937 BD, where the "11" and "BD" are vertically stacked numerals. -- Last edit: 2009-12-06 18:44:05 |
