Ooooooooooooooohhhhhh my god that's a 1994 Audi S6 C4! So rare in the sedan version! You can recognize typical S details, like the Avus wheels, chrome mirrors, sporty bumpers and, of course, the S6 front badge. This must be a 2.2 T 230Hp version (there was a 4.2 V8 too). Without any doubt, you've made my day |

Walter, it says 4.2, doesn't it? -- Last edit: 2009-02-14 17:45:48 |

Wow, of course! Well, there aren't exterior differences between the 2.2 T and the 4.2 (I said 2.2 T because it's the most common engine in that S6 model). So that's the 4.2 version (290hp) (you can add "4.2" in extra info then) |

S6 C4 is a facelifted S4 C4. It came out i the middle of 1994 as a 1995 Model Year = it's at least a 1995 S6. Last model year was 1997. The last model year the top model and first model from Quattro GMBH came out - S6 Plus built in 855 examples as Avant and 97 examples in Limousine (sedan). The standard S6 was built in larger numbers. S6 4,2 could be had either with a 6speed manual or 4speed automatic. On the earlier S4 4,2 was only a 6speed manual offered. The mirrors on this car is AFTERMARKET the first Audi S-car with aluminium mirrors was S8 D2, C4 never had them from factory. Stephan |
