Disgusting car. It looks like a carp. Very US-style, its Design. The reason for its total unpopularity in Germany. The selling of it was a disaster for Ford over here. I must see such a car every day. ![]() |

Too much metal on this trunklid. Should have made taillamps and matching center applique larger to even the design out. |

Indeed Ingo, it's biggest rival the Opel/Vauxhall Omega was much easier on the eyes. |

Something similar to this /vehicle_181826-Infiniti-J30-F32-1993.html ? Indeed ![]() -- Last edit: 2009-10-13 15:24:42 |

Yes indeed on another page I also mentioned its resemblance to the J30, I like both. |

Waah, the Infiniti is not better. Fortunately I hadn't to see this model over here. ![]() A propos Infiniti. Since two weeks they were sold in Germany. The first dealer in Hamburg has opened. -- Last edit: 2009-10-13 20:54:32 |

As it is a UK car it is simply a Scorpio -there is no "MKII" for uk |

I like the J30, but not the Scorpio. About the mkII in UK, it is like the Golf mkII in USA, that's already complicated enough ![]() -- Last edit: 2009-10-13 22:47:31 |

Registration doesn't appear on the DVLA. |

P809 YTH, surely this makes it a 1996-1997 car? For a while it was the car for Supt Brownlow, but also seemed to be used whenever DCI Burnside made an appearance, in his later role as Head of Crime OCU. |

It's a fake plate - Pxxx YTH series never issued. (x)TH was a Swansea combination, which is where DVLA live; sometime back we found a list of dummy series DVLA approved for screen use, but I've lost the reference now - it was a similar exercise to British Telecom providing dummy phone numbers for sign-written trucks and vans to ensure the numbers were never live. |
