Looks to be a 1952 Kaiser Manhattan |

It is a 1953 Kaiser Manhattan 4 door sedan ( model K 5321): it has the two small horizontal chrome pieces on the sides of the headlight rims. Those were absent on the 1952 models |

I think it is quite probably a Dutch built car (Nekaf), and if so it might be a 'Rotterdam' instead of 'Manhattan'. |

Sure about it being Dutch-built? For what it's worth, this is a location in Montreal. |

Then it is not very probable, indeed. Also I found that if this would have been France, it wouldn't be a Dutch-built car but a car assembled in Israel. For some reason the Kaisers sold in France came from there. |

These scenes in France were actually shot in old Montreal. |

This Kaiser Manhattan 1953 belonged to ME in 2008 when "Paris" scenes were filmed in Montréal, Québec, Canada. We were there for 6 days and I had the chance to meet Brad Pitt (who's taller than I tot...) The car was indeed made in the USA...I sold the car to a man who became a friend and I have the pleasure of seeing the beauty once in a while. I still have 3 cars: a dark blue 4 door '52 Hudson Hornet (named "Doc Hudson alias Miss Daisy)...,a 2 dr hard top turquoise '54 Nash Ambassador(named "Palazzo")...and a ragtop fiery red (white interior) '6 Ford Thunderbird. They've all been in movies! |
