In the middle of the picture is a 1930 Ford Model A Sport Coupe. I don't think that top actually folds down. On the right might be the 1933 Chev roadster seen crashed in another pic. Maybe a 1936 Chev hood ornament on the left?? |

The spare wheel cover appears to be from Clarence [initial] Shetler Ford Repairing, located at 70 W Green St. I can't find any specific references to such a repair shop, but I can find census records of a Clarence E. Shetler who lived in Los Angeles in 1930. 70 W Green St. in Pasadena, California, is currently the address of Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Dining. |

In reply to: CougarTim, On the spare wheel cover, the repair shop mentioned, Clarence Shetler Ford Repairing was my Grandfather's shop. He sold the shop and bought an alfalfa ranch east of Palmdale, California, where I was born and raised. My Grandfather passed away in 1977. I happened upon this page accidentally, by Googling my Grandfather's name to see what was there, and this popped up. What a small world!!! |
