Mini, obviously, but unless it's a very rare Radford DeVille then it's not a hatchback... |

1966 Gallagher (Bathurst) 500. Cooper S finished in first 9 places, but this one #15 Ken Stacey/Mal Henderson retired. It might even have crashed - who can tell? |

1966 Gallagher (Bathurst) 500 had #C15 Ken Stacey/Mal Henderson retired after crash. But it was different livery - Link to "www.youtube.com" . So this can only be 1971 Hardie-Ferodo 500 - Bill Stanley/Mike Kable, finished 42nd. Classes were separated by price - C = $2,501 to $3,150 with Ford Cortina, Ford Escort, 2.8 litre Holden Torana GTR, Honda 1300, Mazda RX-2 and Morris Cooper S entries. This is an Aus-build car (quarterlights) and by 71 would have been a 69+ Mk2, which kept Mk1 grille (unlike the UK Mk2 format which was never adopted in Aus). |
