So this can only be 1971 Hardie-Ferodo 500 - Bill Stanley/Mike Kable, finished 42nd. Classes were separated by price - C = $2,501 to $3,150 with Ford Cortina, Ford Escort, 2.8 litre Holden Torana GTR, Honda 1300, Mazda RX-2 and Morris Cooper S entries. This is an Aus-build car (quarterlights) and by 71 would have been a 69+ Mk2, which kept Mk1 grille (unlike the UK Mk2 format which was never adopted in Aus).
