It is a Heuliez Bus based on a Citroën, probably a U23. http://carcatalog3.free.fr/heuhist.htm Link to "membres.lycos.fr" Was Heuliez used as the brand name, or rather Citroën? Who knows? |

Usually Heuliez name followed the original name of the car. Cf the Peugeot 604 limousine already on the site. And I think that it was the same for most of their creations. |

Alexander is right, it is a Citroen U23 , with Heuliez body, very common in the 60's |

I think we should keep the chassis-type first, the body name should be given with type name. |

Depends on the makes... as already discussed, some are sold as the body maker (e.g. VanHool, ...) But in any case original make and original model should appear together (I guess that's this change that you did? i.e. invert U23 and Heuliez?) -- Last edit: 2006-02-13 23:42:58 |

je vais m' expliquer en français, car je suis trop fatigué... Je pense que c'est difficile de définir une regle , d' etre dogmatique, sur cette question... VAN HOOL peutêtre considéré comme un constructeur car il a une gamme très grande,produit en grande série, représente un poids économique national (BELGIQUE) et internal très fort, et en toute indépendance des grands constructeurs europééns (assemble sur tous types de chassis selon les cahiers des charges, ou les accords avec les constructeurs) ...pour Heuliez, comme pour d' autres c'est un peu différent, car les gammes et les séries sont plus faibles,...je vois plus Heuliez comme sous-traitant que comme constructeur à part entière... |
