1964+ by the indicators. It could possibly be a Kombi as listed, some markets used Kombi as modelname for several trimlevels. By the two-tone paint it´s probably a Bus, and if british modelnames were used on kenyan market it would be called Micro Bus. |

If the scene is from Kenya, could it be a South African made Kombi? For these openable front-windows the Bulli-freaks are going crazy... |

Or perhaps Volkswagen had a CKD assembly plant in Kenya. And don't forget that many African countries refused to trade with South Africa because of apartheid, although I don't know whether the boycotting had already begun in the 1960s. |
