pilou ◊ 2009-03-09 09:08	It is a 1949 DeSoto Diplomat ( SP-18) 4-door sedan but retrofitted with a 1949 Plymouth P-18 grille .The logo and DeSoto head on the hood are unmistakenbly DeSoto .As DeSoto Diplomats were badge engineered Plymouths ,interchanging of grilles did not pose a problem.

It is a 1949 DeSoto Diplomat ( SP-18) 4-door sedan but retrofitted with a 1949 Plymouth P-18 grille .The logo and DeSoto head on the hood are unmistakenbly DeSoto .As DeSoto Diplomats were badge engineered Plymouths ,interchanging of grilles did not pose a problem.
