Well, you've got the traditional Peterbilt logo right there on the cowl. The chassis is a little longer than usual, and the sleeper cab is kind of small, but neither of these things give me any doubts about this being a 379. |

It is a 379 127" long hood, sometimes referred to as "extended hood." 36" sleeper. Long west-coast logger wheelbase and lift axle set-up. Cab mounted mirrors and flat lower ledge of the door glass tells me 2005. If the window were angled it would be '06 (build) up to '07 end of run 379. (cab mounted mirrors debuted on '05 builds). This 379 has several aftermarket add-ons including the painted lower cab panels, bigger visor, big stacks and chromed door handle surrounds. The paint scheme is classic west-coast logger.
