Frequently misidentified as a Ford by some of the cast. More scenes: -- Last edit: 2009-03-17 12:32:35 |

Pontiac Bonneville Safari? |

I was thinking something like that. |

That's the model I've looked for it, but I have not found any year with those orange lights between the headlights. |

Not with those orange lights but this is a 1980 Pontiac Bonneville Safari http://geneva-illinois.olx.com/1980-pontiac-bonneville-safari-iid-341481 |

If front style was common to wagons and sedans/coupes, it's a '80 http://www.cardatabase.net/search/photo_search.php?id=00107413 |

Since this was filmed in Canada, might this be a Laurentian/Parisienne Safari? |

I don't see rocker trim at the first thumbnail provided by Ddey65 |

It's definitely not a Bonneville/Parisienne, as they had right hand mirrors standard. Which leaves us with either Catalina or Laurentian. Both would have the name as part of the fender badge, which here looks like it just says "Safari". Looks plain enough to be lower level Laurentian. 1980: Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" 1981: Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" -- Last edit: 2021-01-22 22:51:59 |
