Yes, with a plate of marmite sandwiches by my side. But am coming to the end of the types I know well - Imps, Avengers, Arrow (ie mid-60s onwards) - am less confident on the earlier stuff so will be more cautious. |

Yuk, also with this disgusting beer from Dumfries? I cannot remember the name of this local speciality (I've read it's only made and consumed around there), but its taste is awful. My father and me have ordered it once accidentally, when I took him in a real Scottich pub at our trip in 2007. |

Dumfries is a strange place. There is an old joke - which is probably totally absolutely untrue and which I do not intend to explain on a reputable website such as imcdb - that a few years ago they opened a new leisure centre there. It was a sheep tied to a lamp post. |

@ dsl: Look on the bright side it's far better and less stressful to be cleaning the Rootes Group cars and Classic Rally cars than the curious and unfathomable world of the Lotus Seven Inspired Sportscar as I am currently trying to do. |

@ Sandie - my grandmother warned me about them too - for once I listened to her. |
