1980-1985; North Carolina State Patrol. Beautiful paint scheme...never knew they used Impalas. -- Last edit: 2009-03-19 22:53:50 |

Are these 9C1 since they are authentic NCSP Cruisers? |

I'm not sure...you confused me with the whole 9C1/F41 classification with these generation of cars. |

Well according to your information, it would only be a 9C1 if it was a 1980 model (something that we can't confirm). By the way, not to nitpick but do you have a source for this information? |

To Ford Guy: I misinterpreted the information regarding the 9C1. According to wikipedia, 9C1 was the standard police package on the Impala from 1977-1985, and then the Caprice from 1986-1990. The designation F41 does not refer to a police package, but is the special heavy duty suspension system (anti sway bar, shocks) which was added to the 9C1 police package. In other words, all B body Caprices and Impalas from 1977-1990 are all 9C1 police package...including these shown above. -- Last edit: 2009-03-27 03:44:37 |
