These were available in other colors? Third time I list this model, and they are always yellow.

Indeed the 1976-1978 2CV 4 Spécial (with 435 cc engine) was only available in this yellow (Jaune Cédrat, AC 331). In some markets there was also a 1977-1978 2CV 6 Spécial (with 602 cc engine) in two shades of red (Rouge Soleil, AC432 in 1977 and Rouge Géranium, AC 435 in 1978). I've had one of these red 1978 models that has run over 400.000 kms (last real trip Amsterdam - Barcelona vv).

Thank's. And there was any reason why they again lost the 3rd side window? :D

They lost not only their third side window but also a part of their standard equipment like the foamy steering wheel and the body color painted headlights (adopting the light grey ones of the H van). Trying to offer an ultra cheap 2CV and beat Renault 4 prices that were following very closely, Citroen maybe overeacted a little bit..! Economic gain was important though, there were old 2CV (2 window) bodys stocked that found customers with a minor adjustment to the rear end and the marketing of crashing prices proved to be very popular. :)

Funny how the Spécial was always advertised as the poverty version and the Club as the luxury version when in my opinion it was the other way around: the retro Spécial with round headlights and only select colors, and the Club with its 70s blocky, square headlights following the trend of the era.

Now that I'm talking about one of these without correcting the entry for once, let's take the chance to mention my personal take on the classic personalized 2CV: Club in 'bleu azurite' (nice dark color for a canvas) but instead of just adding something boring like an Eiffel tower or even a French flag, quintessentially French* characters painted on each face of the car.

*Pepe Le Pew on the trunk, Marie, Berlioz and Toulouse on the driver side, a poodle with a beret on the passenger side, and the Pink Panther on the hood. About as French as French Montana, I know. It's just supposed to be fun. Although in today's society, radical feminists may pull an H982 FKL on the trunk...
