I was thinking also in a Star Chief (also pillared). BTW something is written in left side of the grille (obstructed by aditional light) |

It's either a 1963 Bonneville (in which case the grille would say Bonneville) or a Canadian 1963 Parisienne (the grille would say Pontiac) with that side trim. -- Last edit: 2009-03-24 22:28:21 |

I think that thin chrome strip on the edge of the trunk would make it a Parisienne. Comments?? |

This car is a Parisienne. Both the Bonneville and the Parisienne had the small strip on the rear quarter. The thing that makes it a Parisienne is that there was no pillared Bonneville sedan in 1963. The Bonneville is also a longer car than the Parisienne and has a wider track rear axle. |

Yes, both had the strip, but the Bonneville's was wider. The narrow one like this is unique to Parisienne. |
