"In my work for a bloodthirsty cult, I depend on my Gran Torino." |

I remember an episode of MST3000 where they were watching an old black & white monster flick that had giant spiders. When one of "the spiders" crossed over a hill into plain view, they said: "it’s a beach-buggy with fur!" And the real funny part was it really did look like a beach-buggy with stuck-on fur and tacked-on appendages! ![]() |

If this is a Gran Torino, it's a 73. Personally, I think it looks more like a '74 Chevy Impala Custom Coupe. |

There's one shot from the side in the earlier chase where it says "Torino" on it. I dunno, maybe they used two cars. The used two trucks after all. I'll get more screenshots. |

Okay this is the car used to chase the kid in the bike:![]() ![]() ![]() As you can see it clearly says "Torino" on the side in the second thumbnail. At least I think it does. And this is the one in the main pic, the car used later to chase the truck and which crashes into a stream: ![]() ![]() ![]() They look alike to me, but I could be wrong. |

It's a 1973 Ford "base" Torino model as evidenced by the full-width grill design. Not a "Gran" Torino model which has a smaller grill opening between the headlight bezels.. |

Better shots always help. Thanks. |

Actually, it's a 1974 Ford Torino base 2-door hardtop. In that last image, you can make out the gas filler door in the center below the trunk lid. On the 1973 models, the gas fill was underneath the license plate. |
