pilou ◊ 2009-04-07 14:48	1962 Mercury Comet 4-door sedan.It is the basic 1962 Comet Sedan , not the Custom. It can be spotted by the V ending the spear under the rear fender wings. Those were sold both in the US and in Canada as the same car.Because Ford Canada had sold through its Mercury-Meteor dealers the badge engineered Frontenac which was a Ford Falcon based clone in 1960 ,the Mercury Comet became not generally available in Canada until the 1961 model appeared and this coincided with the dropping off of the Frontenac replaced by the Mercury Comet after only one year of production.
