Fiat 13x Break ? Perhaps door lock, mirror and position of mirror may give a clue. |

Audi 80 Variant (1975-1978) ??? |

The Audi 80 was only availabe as a sedan, the estate and hatchback were branded Volkswagen Passat. http://www.jhauser.de/passat/vw-werbung.html This car is something different. |

Renault R20 |

I don't think it's an R20 - the R20 had only 2 holes near the wipers: Link to "www.renaultbiler.no" Also, you would have seen a part of the hatch in this view. It has to be a "Break" type car. -- Last edit: 2006-02-20 03:42:57 |

The R20's (and R30's) hatch started a comfortable amount BEHIND the c-pillars, therefore it would NOT be visible in this shot. You are right, the R20 had only two air intake gutters, but the R30 had them exactly like in this pic (which slipped by me when I initially researched). Hence, this is a Renault R30! For me it's Renault 20 (I see the movie, an in my mémory, it's a R20 "TS" withe L4 2.0) -- Last edit: 2006-02-20 11:13:02 |

I would also say R30, but I'll check in the movie (I remember a longer rear, indicating that it is a wagon and not a hatchback) |

The best view of the rear that I can get: Looks like a hatchback. |

Ben non... c'est une Renault, et plutôt 20 que 30, à la couleur... TS pour les ouïes sous le pare-brise, mais pour Renault, aucun doute possible! |

Si TS, alors 1978+ |

The Renault 20/30 had these door handles only for model years 1975/1976. 1976 Renault 20 GTL perhaps? |

929V6 is right: these doorhandles only in 1975 and 1976 (=modelyear 1976). Only the GTL had the decorative strips on the side, so it must be a 1976 R20 GTL |

The GTL in fact didn't have decorative strips. Brochures show that GTL and TL are visually the same. Maybe strips were possible in GTL as extra option and in TL not? |
