i believe all these BMW/minis are known as "Mini One"...there are no real sub types apart from the so called "Countryman" and "Cooper"...possibly a convertable soft top..not much use in the UK....the Countryman being a useless laughable "estate" version with double opening back doors, which are really only a sales gimmick...the "Cooper" one has extra fog lamps and a fancy paint job...but underneath its the same car..different price tag. The one in the picture has a checkered roof graphic.....this may add some fancy name to the car as a sales gimmick..but its still a Mini One....This BMW "Mini" is to the real mini what the US remake of the "Italian Job" was to the 1969 original film....a very bad imitation....i believe the word nowadays is "homage"......nice T shirts by the way. -- Last edit: 2009-04-29 20:01:31 |

This must be a very safe Mini as there are a lot of airbags in the picture... |

Isn't it that the "One" has always roof in the body color? In such case it must be a Cooper, as the roof is white (+ chessboard). |

Indeed, when I try to customize the car on mini.be the One has body-colored roof. |
