This is Bumblebee, the G1. He's a VW De Luxe Sedan maybe. |

this is 1950 volkswagen beetle deluxe because it does not have smoking slits so if this was any kind of beetle it would have double bumpers or smoking slits witch it does not have these features |

Bullshit. It's just generic. |

Seriously? You really got to talk like that? |

Yeah, he does. |

Yes. Not only in the internet, in the real life, even in my job either. |

just wondering...maybe my memory is failing but if Hound gets 4 stars, shouldn't Bumblebee deserve the same ? |

after all, he is nearly the only one to be 'used' by a character and probably the most known after Optimus Prime and Megatron -- Last edit: 2016-06-05 12:24:25 |

The VW Beetle had the rectangular rear window from 1958 to 2003, so Bumblebee is not a 1950 VW. |

Bumblebee's design is generic as far as Beetles go, but when Goldbug, a more car-accurate version of Bumblebee was made, his features most resembled a 1974 Super Beetle, or 1303S. (In particular, the vent pattern on his "hood".) When Pretender Bumblebee was made, a lot of Goldbug's features as well as his size were retained. That's why I've always considered Bumblebee a 1974 VW 1303S/Super Beetle. (Apparently, the triangular door windows were optional. A model with a sunroof was called a "Sun Beetle", not a "Super Beetle".) -- Last edit: 2020-01-25 16:14:47 (kegare) |
