I agree with that: unlike the Chevrolet models, the 1960 and 1961 GMC C/K-Series trucks have the same hood. As ½-ton / 1000 model available only on the smallest (115" / 2.92 m) wheelbase, the 1960-66 GMC Suburban has a 1001 internal code if 2WD, K1001 if 4WD.
