Yes indeed - note the lack of a gutter above the rear window. The normal steel body had a separate roof panel with a gutter over the rear window. |

New info - Chile did metal body Austin and Morris Mini Mil (UK style but with 998cc) 1964-66 then stopped until 1969 restart with fibreglass bodies (developed for BMC by by Peel in the Isle of Man) Mini 1000 with Mk1 features and included some Coopers until 1974. These had no A-pillar seams or roof drip channels, and did have wind-up windows and a swage line along sills and arches as seen here. |
