If Fairlane 500, then Ranch Custom Wagon - Ranch Wagon was in the Fairlane (without 500) range. Looks upmarkeyt enough to be a 500, indeed: [48]. |

Yesterday night, I watched this movie in TV and some clarification should be commented about Fairlanes Wagons from 1960 to 1970 (last year of Fairlane, I think), obviously after some search I did. In 1960, 1961 and 1962, there were not Fairlanes Wagons. There were Ranch Wagons, either Tudor or Fordor. In 1963 Fairlane series got three wagons: Ranch Wagon, Custom Ranch Wagon and Fairlane Squire. In 1964 (year of this pic) there were two wagons. Ranch Wagon and Custom Ranch Wagon. There was not a Fairlane 500 Ranch Wagon. External difference: the wide side strip we see on the pic (some of them colored). This is a Fairlane Custom Ranch Wagon [71B] as /vehicle_368635-Ford-Fairlane-Ranch-Wagon-1964.html and /vehicle_261302-Ford-Fairlane-Ranch-Wagon-71D-1964.html Actually listed as 'simply' Fairlane Ranch Wagon In 1965, yes, there were two Fairlane wagons, a Fairlane SW and a Fairlane 500 SW In 1966, the two same of 1965 and a Fairlane Squire SW. In 1967, same as 1966. In 1968, Fairlane SW and Fairlane 500 SW (no Squire) In 1969 same as 1968, only two. And in 1970 , there weren't 'just' Fairlane and there was only one Fairlane 500 SW. |
