As I said for a "Zephyr 4" recently added, we have some "Zephyr Six", so we should decide between numbers or letters, but not both... (I would say numbers ) Or maybe that like for some Simca the manufacturer used both letters and numbers, depending on the year? -- Last edit: 2006-02-25 18:25:00 |

I think we´ll have to live with both letters and numbers for the Zephyr, it seems that Ford changed when the Consul was discontinued and the four cylinder engine moved into the Zephyr range. After that the cars are badged with numbers. |

Yes but the MkIII for example is listed as Zephyr Six on the site, though it was identified as Zephyr 6. That's why I asked the question... |
