To me this is a 1950 Chrysler Windsor. |

It is not a 1950 Chrysler Windsor , but a 1950 De Soto DeLuxe 4-door sedan ( S-14) : 1950 Chryslers had round bumper blades , here there are square and ribbed in their upper part as on the DeSotos. The hubcaps here are plain as on the DeSoto\'s , 1950 Chrysler hubcaps had an embossed circle in their middle.A 1950 Chrysler or 1950 DeSoto Custom would have a rear fender stone guard , this was absent on the 1950 DeSoto DeLuxe. The 1950 Chrysler had a parrallelipedal bright plate trim behind the lower part of the front fender and the 1950 DeSoto Custom 2 stripes .None of those are present here.Rear window is one piece ( Chrysler\'s was 3 pieces).I also exclude Dodge because Dodge\'s had no second small bright trim strip on the front fender. |
