The hearse? ET 9976? According to the DVLA the car is alive and well! Date of Liability 22 03 2006 (which means it is currently taxed!) Date of First Registration 31 10 1936 (Halloween! How appropriate for a hearse!) Cylinder Capacity (cc) 3340CC Vehicle Colour BLACK It is an Alpe & Saunders Hearse on a 1936 20/25 chassis. |

In the books is to find for Registration ET 9976 the follwing: Chassis No: GTK53 Original Body: Thrupp&Maberly Std Limousine First owner: A.P. Aizelwood Date of delivery: 05.08.1936 Builder of later fitted Hearse body: unknown And: appeared in 1971 in Film "Get Carter" (That's what is to find in the book "The Rolls-Royce 20/25 HP" by Tom C. Clarke, Complete Classic Publication. Can be ordered for other models by www.rrab.com. The 20/25 HP issue is sold out |

I wrote from the books the original specs. The builder of LATER fitted hearse body (what is even kown in the books!) as seen on the film, is unknown. Alpe & Saunders coud not be confirmed |
