It is a first generation Toyopet Crown (S30 series). You can tell by the door handles. First generation Crown has "suiside doors", which is an exact match. Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" -- Last edit: 2009-10-28 16:45:47 (antp) |

This is a 1958 Toyopet Crown this model had suicide door until 1963. I own 2 of the 1958 Toyopet and 2 of the 1959 Crown. Thanks Frenchy |

Welcome to the site, Frenchy DeHoux! Must be something very rare to own such olds Toyopets... Btw, isn't this page actually for the truck in the background? |

Is it a track in the interior? It is not a Toyota crown. Maybe, I think that it is Toyota DA or FA. These were manufactured in the latter half of the 1950's. The diesel engine was installed in DA and the gasoline engine was installed in FA. This both have little distinction on externals. Therefore, whether it is DA or FA is not understood only from this photograph. Just for reference, http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~rf7k-inue/izen/no-8/toyota/toyota.html Link to "www.geocities.jp" |
