This is a 63 or 64 Lincoln - the easiest way to tell is the trunk chrome not visible here. It isn't a 62. |

The Lincoln Continetal pictured is a '64 model...not a 62 or 63 |

1964. Why ? 1st : from 1961 to 1963, wind-screen of the wonderfull Lincoln Continental reaches the roof above the side panes, which gave it all its spell and is not the case here 2nd : wheel-disks are concave, instead of convex from 1961 to 1963 By the way, do you know that convertible Lil from 1961 was the only one car in the world with 4 doors and automatic electrical hood which could go out and in the rear chest ? I mean foldable and not semi-rigid hood like Ford Skyliner 1957. Four doors convertible with this specificity : neither Rolls-Royce nor Mercedes did it (but only landaulets)...not even nowadays. FANCIN PS : for me this is the most beautifull US post-WWII car with the Studebaker "Coupé" (2 doors) 1953 |
