Were they built in Autralia (RHD)? |

I have one of the KB trucks which is the slightly later model and doesn't have many differences from this one. It was originally built RHD in 1948 in Chicago, USA for export to South Africa. I now own it and I'm in the UK, ideal as we also drive on the right. Left and right hand parts are interchangeable - on the dashboard, the passenger-side glove box door and the driver-side instrument panel are identical shape & size, designed to be built on the left or right side. Also the bulkhead has an area each side of the truck where the steering column can go through. |
