This car is owned by the local district attorney who keeps showing up all through the movie. Of course that means this beautiful car gets a lot of screen time. |

The 1936/37 Cord had them. Don't know of any others prior, certainly not in the US. Nice rare shot of the headlamp doors opened in the thumbnail. As I recall, they had to be hand-cranked open. Likely one reason why they didn't catch on. I watched an edition in colors of this movie and this DeSoto was light blue. |
