The windshield banner is an eyebrow-raiser: Fire-Am was a "tuned" version of the Trans Am offered in kit form by former Pontiac engineer Herb Adams. Although the kit included special decals pretty different from the factory decals seen here, since they were kits, every builder could presumably do as he liked.
