Simca Aronde - 90A? |

1956/57 Aronde, indeed. In France the two-tone paint only came in 1957 on the Elysée Matignon, but then the roof had the same colour as the lower part of the body. Is this a special export version, or maybe even locally built? |

I think Simcas were assembled by ANA-Motors in Lund, Sweden. Maybe DAF555 knows more? I had a list of all makes they assembled but I can't find it now... |

Indeed assembled by ANA, Aktiebolaget Nyköpings Automobilfabrik, in Nyköping. I don´t know how ANA-Motors in Lund is connected to ANA in Nyköping but the special vehicles built by them are based on the brands imported and/or assembled in Nyköping. In Lund they made stretches, funeral coaches and other special adaptions. I guess Animatronixx knows more on the subject. I´ve seen two-tone Arondes like this before, but I can´t find or remember if they had a special name. The 1956 models I found are called Aronde 1300, + De Luxe, Elysée or Hardtop. |

Nice! Because of the two-tone and the extra chrome, this will be Elysée. |

Ah, sorry I mixed them up, again.... |
