1978-81 Chrysler Australia CM Valiant |

The CM Valiant was sold in South Africa as the CHRYSLER SE. Not a 'Valiant' badge on the car whatsoever. |

Just "SE" as model name ? -- Last edit: 2006-03-03 12:18:59 |

If this takes place in South Africa, that is what the Oz Valiant was sold as there. |

The equivalent Australian model is the CL, 1976-78. The model prior to the CM. In Australia the 'SE' was the top line model in the Valiant range. -- Last edit: 2006-07-13 01:21:14 |

Yellow one is CL as well. CM had different grille and slightly different tail lights |

Should be listed as origin of Australia, made for South Africa due to white retroreflector just below the front bumper. |

The CL is the model series that is made in 1976/78 model years as stated by valiant1962. This will only show up in the ID plate, nothing else appears elsewhere in the vehicle. SE is just the trim level. |
