This is not a 1964 Triumph 2000. This is a Mk2 as the Mk1 ceased production in 1969. From the looks of the slighty higher suspension, this could be a Mk2 from between 1974 and 1977-78. This is the standard (no pun intended) 2000 model as there are no badges on the c pillar and no headrests. Also it has basic wheel trims. After having another look, I can't quite make out if there is a rubber strip running along the bumper which would make it a post '74 car. so it could be just a pre'74 car with new suspension! -- Last edit: 2006-05-09 02:10:50 |

I think that blue 2000 with the dodgy tyre profile might be one of the 2600 prototypes owned by Canley Classics: have a look at www.canleyclassics.com - the blog talks about supplying Triumphs for filming |
