Looks like a Ford seat pattern (Mercury, Edsel, etc.). The windscreen pillar indicates 57-59 if Ford. My other thought was Pontiac, but the way the lower seatback seam curves horizontally (like a manilla file folder at an office supply store) and the wide ribbing of the colored insert area makes me think more Fordlike. I think they are seat covers, maybe to protect original seats at trade in time. Shades don't seem to match. I agree with Ford but as movie came out in 1956, this is more likely a 1955-56. -- Last edit: 2009-08-03 19:01:49 |
